:o :o , Snakes are the one thing that scares me, apart from heights that is!! Poor Hank, well I suppose now lucky Hank.........just so glad it was not me who found him!

I don't like snakes either but this is an act of cruelty - he was almost dead when they found him. Probably couldn't afford to keep it any more and just dumped it. Cruel and also very dangerous if he had come across anyone soon after he was left there.

Oh what a shame, he's gorgeous too. Glad he was found in time to save his life, I'd probably have fed the owner to him.. :innocent:

I suppose it's the same as with all "kept" animals - this bl**dy financial mess we're all in is increasing instances of this type of neglect & downright cruelty :rant:
Strangely enough, when my OH was up Llandovery way recently, topping-up her poultry stock, there was a HUGE snake (looked very similar to the one in this report) curled-up dead on a bank of grass.
It really upsets me when I hear of these things :'(
