As many of you down south will know mole valley farmers bought out Scats sometime ago, although scats are still trading under there own name a lot of there products now appear to be mole valley but i was wondering if anyone knew if there pig feed is too ? I used to use mole valley at Frome but now i'm out on the marlborough downs i use Scats of Devizes a lot now.

No idea although I have bought from there. They are more expensive than Mole Valley. We have just ordered a load from Heygates as it saves about £2 a bag.

Our Farmway was bought out by Mole Valley and I have to say the prices are much better esp when you buy Mole Valleys own branded stuff

Our SCATS in Bridgend sells a mix of MVF and other brands like Heygates.  Ring yours and ask? It might just depend what price they can stock in for so might vary throughout the year.

As a mv employee I am undoubtedly biassed but I think they're not only  wonderful people to work for but as  well as being a hugely successful business (and what is wrong with that at a time when agriculture and associated businesses have struggled to stay afloat) they still retain much of their original farmer led buying group ethos With all account holders hhaving membership and some share ownership of the company.  I'm a fan- hopefully that's my Christmas bonus secured.
