I can now confirm that the 2014 SS&G Festival will take place on Saturday 27th September at Lanark Agricultural Centre
And the first SS&G Spring Gathering will take place at Thainstone Agricultural Centre on Saturday 31st May 2014.
Both events will have cattle showing classes for the first time, plus sheep, pigs, goats, poultry and waterfowl. Plus crafts, food, trade stands and a programme of seminars and demonstrations.
Tickets are £10; under 16s are free.
Schedules for the livestock, P&W classes and the Garden, Craft and Food competition at the Gathering will be available at the end of January.
