Goodness, another gorgeous boy too!!!

Hamburg (Che) now has a new home as well. Hoorah for Gumtree Derby!!

Well done on finding homes so quickly for your two boys - I am not surprised they were snapped up though.

Yes, was v quick,
We moved Evita the hamburg hen in with the ex batts, cos the others wouldnt have her. She went in late at night, and so far so good... had a bit of flapping and clucking and shes changed from hiding at one end in the coop, to the coop at the other end but at about 90 miles an hour!!
Theyre all sulky today cos of the rain and thunder yesterday

One thing I must say about Hamburghs, and I've had them on and off for a few years now, is that I swear they are cleverer than your average chickens. I do love them though.

I think I have a cockerel arriving tomorrow - it was that or the thing was going for the chop!!!

Lol, one day James you'll have so many animals you will just spend all day feeding and looking after them and you won't have time for anything else!

Do you know what type/breed he is?
Our boys were so handsome, I couldnt bear the thought of them making meat, they could have been show birds!
I wanted to keep this one with the hamburg pullet, and make up a trio...but I dont think the neighbours would have been very pleased! She is still sulking, stays in the coop most of the time - the ex batts just lay round her!
