Hesitantly giving up two of my boys, I have three cockerels in all but probably best to let the brothers go. The other one is a Light Sussex. None have them have ever fought with each other though. They are all 5 months old.
Central Scotland.
NB NOT for the table, will be looking for chicken friendly homes, these boys are pets or potential breeders. Rare breed, should do well but have to downsize due to moving house.
Can be seen or I can arrange photos.

Hello!
You don't have any female Barnvelders spare as well as a boy?

Unfortunately Beth if I did I wouldn't be giving them away! I'd love a breeding pair but I only got boys out of my hatch and they filled my tiny coop up.
Sorry!
What breeds do you keep Beth? I see you're quite close to me?

BUMP
Please, I want my boys to go to a good home! I'll give them away individually as long as the person has chickens already - bonny chaps, would make some lady hens very happy ;)

Hi,
We don't have very many hens just now- one black rock hen and one 1/2 barnvelder cockerel. I have 6 pure bred gold pencilled Hamburgh bantams as well. Really need a few pullets for some laying hens, and I did like the barnvelders- they're a lovely breed and good layers. We did have 2 barnvelder hens, but lost them to the fox :-(

This photo is from a few months ago, when they were only a couple of months old. Can't seem to get a decent pic as they're always covered in muck in this weather or it's pitch black! The Barnvelders have got beautiful feathering now, that lovely bottle green colour of black shine if that makes any sense?! They're big chaps now too, over 5 months old.
I'd be really happy if you could take one off my hands, the slightly smaller one isn't an alpha so I would think he'd be ok with your other cockerel. Then you could get some Barnvelder hens in the spring! I'll be trying to hunt some down if I keep one Barnvelder (which I'm hoping too, the Light Sussex is bigger an possibly the noisiest of the 3, so since I'm going urban that could be a potential problem).

Free coop if you take my light sussex boy before the two weeks is up! Very worried I'm not going to be able to find a good home, I can't take them all with me when I move though :(
Please please please take my Light Sussex cockerel!!

Thanks, home and fine... It's always a bit sad seeing a single bird on its own... But it's not for very long!
