I'm getting a tup for the first time ::) and while there will be a timber railed fence and then an electric fence between him and my pygmy goats, will he be daft enough to think they'll be interested in his advances, or will my pygmy goats come to think ..... he's only going to have 2 ladies (all north ronaldsays) in with him and ideally he shouldn't be able to get out as the railed fence is the usual height and NRs are not as jumpy as the soays and moorits. Thoughts please.

Ran a large herd of cashmeres at one time with sheep and no problems with rams or billy , my neighbour has wild goats on the hill and again no problems

i would be concerned if he began to butt them as goats are a bit more fragile than a sheep. a ram has a very strong butt when he wants too.
breeding wise - i had 4 rams trying to mount my sow :pig: when she was in-season :innocent: :innocent: so nothing will surprise me :roflanim:

;D thanks both, yes our goats will be in season too :-\ , hopefully that fence is high enough.
