Title: we did it!

Yesterday we took Mavis back to the kennels and signed all the papers, paid the money and adopted her officially   ;D

They wouldn't microchip her yet as she is still too skinny although they commented that she has definitely put weight on while she has been with us. After we left there we went for a walk by the river and then to a pub with an open fire for tea before coming home and snuggling up on the sofa. She is doing so well, I think she has realised this is home now. This morning for the first time she came to me for a cuddle on her own instead of me stroking her or calling her. It was a proper paws up snuggling in cuddle lol which she hasn't done before.

So she is staying, she is very much a part of the family already and we love her to bits xxx
