I`m Stretch from near Doncaster in South Yorkshire and I`m currently clearing 8 acres of jungle and rubble so as to build some shelters for the goats and Shetland sheep that are awaiting their new home. I shall be photo documenting this and posting at a later date. A bit about myself, I am a single man who is in a relationship with his animals :excited: nothing perverse just no time for anyone at the moment. If things go to plan :fc: then next summer I shall be nearly self sufficient. Hope this finds you all as it leaves me. In health and happiness. Many blessings to you all.

Welcome! My mother-in-law has some Shetland sheep in your neck of the woods - well not so close, she's near Otley but she has friends in Hebdon Bridge with them too (I believe). Good luck with your rubble clearing,
Hester

Hello and welcome from a sunny Somerset. :sunshine: We too have been through the process of clearing brambles and rubble. Actually, I don't think the clearing of brambles ever really stops. :innocent: The self sufficiency route is quite a long one, but very satisfying. Good luck with it all and we look forward to the photos.

Nothing wrong with being close to your animals, they are my life ! l wake every day and they are the first things l think about :goat: :dog: :chook: :&> :horse: Enjoy! lt just gets better, your learning all the time.
We are very fortunate, some people never get to experience the buzz from growing your own veg and interacting
with animals :excited:
