Title: Pear recipe

Has anyone got any pear recipes  :fc:
I'm after preserving recipes, jams, chutneys and any other way of preserving. I've looked on the Internet but only found one jam ( witch when horribly wrong)and one chutney ( witch was very nice)recipe. I would like a few more options.

We used to have a lovely pudding - pears (was always tinned, but poached fresh would be good) with chocolate sponge on top
Pears in tin, sponge mix on top (any generic sponge with chocolate flavouring) and bake til sponge cooked
