Does anyone have a copy of this book? any version?
I'm looking for info on the Scots Grey breed standards but I grudge £60+ for a book! ::)
-
I'll try and dig my copy out tonight and send the details across

You're a star!
Although I don't suspect they have changed a lot, i'm currently working from Wright's Book of Poultry published in 1904 :innocent:

I hope your birds (and mine!) meet all the requirements :fc: ! Got three capes here slowly drying away and I've just put the rest of them in the slow cooker to be curry for tea. Waste not want not :excited:

We're ok so far according to the 1897 Breed Standards! :excited:

Looked everywhere and can't find my copy; sorry! I think its 1990's ed. If it turns up I'll check here to see if anyone got the description for you.

Cheers Steph, would be good to see any changes in them over the years.
maybe you left it at Balmoral? :excited:
-

Yep, seen that one, i've Googled Scots Greys into the very depths of the internet but there is very little useful stuff out there.
thats one of the more descriptive pages out there on Scots Greys but it doesn't show the breed standard as such.
LF, PM sent :excited:
