Has anyone tried this? It looks so simple but effective.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will have to give it a go. No more ends to darn in at the end of a multicoloured project!

And no ends coming back out again.

I've just tried it and it worked a treat. I hardly even noticed I was knitting the joined yarn when I got to it. It was only that there was a tiny piece I hadn't trimmed that gave the game away.

Yes, I've used the Russian join in some of my jumpers - it works brilliantly, especially on nice woolly 'grabby' yarn. And it's dead easy to do.

I've never seen this before but it looks good and seems to be easy to do. I will definitely try when I next need to join in yarn.
Thanks for sharing Lesley
