Oh well the snow must have blown East from Munich Tiz. I got diverted off the main road and after 9 km or so I was in snow on the Monts des Gueret. We are quite high up too but no snow - just cold. A high of 7 tomorow and 21 next weekend. Whatever way the wind blows I guess.
-
Thanks for that MAK .
I'd best get the last of the strawberry's & courgettes in tomorrow and light the big home made 230 x 80 mm candle in the glasshouse to keep the toms , capsicums and aubergines safe for a few more ripening days
-
Ooops - I think I ment to say "the snow has blown WEST from Munich" - given that we are in France. It has warmed up here and is to get warmer as the week marches on. yellow peppers and aubergines are still standing!
-
Saw a recent long-term weather forecast that suggested current indications are a repeat of last year's weather pattern - more Northerlies and Easterlies than usual. Just had four days of Northerlies here, which is very unusual, especially at this time of year. Look out the thermals!
-
shhhhhh ! I don't want to hear this, you keep it up north
-
Something like tiny snow particles here this afternoon... for only 10-15 minutes.
Now raining again, horses are going to swim soon!!
