Firstly we got invited on the spur of the moment, in the middle of one of those "What the **** are we going to have for supper" moments to our neighbours Rich and Ali to share their REALLY YUMMY stir-fry supper. They decided they hadn't seen us for far too long and that their meal would stretch to four servings. Really good timing.
Secondly, upon arrival I got a present of my first ONESIE ;D . Rich and Ali both have a penchant for these grown-up romper suits and they've always look SO comfortable but I hadn't braved my own purchase. Ooooh they're so nice and snuggly and comforting and comfy. I like, I like :excited: . Had supper in my onesie. Had to be done. I'd already gone around in my jimjams as I was feeling a bit peaky with migraine anyway so the transition wasn't a major one. They're those kind of friends. They don't care what you look like and I knew they wouldn't bat an eyelid at me wanting to feel comfortable. I can see us all having supper in onesies next time :roflanim: . Other half wants one now. Trying to find him a sheepy one....

That's what's important in life, although I imagine myself looking like a Telly Tubby in a onesie....

Picture 1 is nice, very sweet but picture 2 is more me...but with a cardi as its cold up here and that string version has no place for my dog treats :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim:

I would love one, think I will drop hints for Christmas. Can just see me doing my housework in it over the winter. Not so keen on the 2nd picture does not look warm enough for our little cottage.

Have you got the socks, Sandy, or would you need to get some like that? :roflanim:
I think I need a onesie for Christmas.

They used to call them boiler suits... And they are not a good idea for women of a certain age, who need the loo a lot if they work outside in the cold and wet!

I really can't understand the onsie obsession at the moment :o I can't seperate them from baby clothes, and the image of adults wearing baby clothes makes me baulk at the idea! I mean, each to thier own, I'm sure they are very comfy but not my cup of tea me thinks :eyelashes:

Ina , I think you mean LONG JOHNS , you can get them with the trap door for emergency use. :roflanim:

No, I don't mean long johns... I had what's now called a onesie once - thought it was a good idea for nights, because the top couldn't ride up and leave you with a cold back... But when you wake up in the middle of the night and have an urgent need, you don't want to be fiddling about with a difficult piece of clothing when you are half asleep, believe me! ;D Only wore it a couple of times.
