Got the vet coming this morning. First TB test for the hiefers and steers, really hope we pass but there was a breakdown a few mile away from us back in June so we are worried. There is a badger set in the wood at the back of us so we do have a close proximity to them.
We will know by Friday anyway, If they fail it :'( it will cost us cause the Heifers are all sold subject to test and hubby said he wont keep cattle again if they fail.
I really do like badgers but...........

My Dad has his Poll Angus cow and heifer tested a week or so ago and they both passed. The neighbouring farmer has had TB in his herd for the past 2 years and is still unable to move any of his cattle off the farm. My Dads cattle are in a field next door to this farmers and there is also a badger set in the woods at the top of the field. To date and :fc: my Dads cattle have never had TB. Hopefully you will be the same with yours :fc:
