Title: another loss

ok so last week i lost an appleyard duck an today i lost a hybrid hen,the hen wasnt a shock thought to be honest as she had been appearing off colour for a couple of days.My mum is worried about something being related between the deaths but not 100%

Off colour in what way?? Off food / water? off her feet? Details might help!! Do you feed anything suspect (Raw potato, sprayed weeds)
We lost two of ours after very very short time  'off' we asked if the vet could autopsy but because they had to send it away, the courier had to be a pet cremation service and charged more than the post mortem! We decided we'd rather buy more hens with the money..

Hi - sorry you've had deaths. It's horrible. I doubt very much that the deaths are related though. Check your housing for red mite infestation and make sure you're not feeding anything dodgy. ( broad bean husks and foliage are another problem I think ). Keep an eye on your other birds and isolate any that seem to be going off. That's all I can think of.
