I would just like to say hi and what a great site this is we have just got a house and use of a 3 acre Field. has any one got an idea where i may be able to get a planning tool to help plan out the use of the land we are starting with about an acre and hope to build up to use the rest we are in Devon the Field is south facing on a slope any help/advice would be great :wave:

not sure about a planning tool but enjoy working it out. Presumably we're not so very far from you- same county at least. I'm about 10 miles north of Crediton, sort of middle of nowhere- welcome aboard-

Theres a Paul Heiney bookpublished by Dorling Kindersley which has some plans for using small holding land areas of varying sizes? It's not in depths but is very inspiring for planning out your use of the land.

I have the original version, very useful for basic ideas and always interesting to dip into, I've only had a quick glance at the new one, anyone know how it compares?
