I don't suppose we're much nearer....... :-\ ....we keep Lleyn :sunshine:

How you done with yours Padge?
Stuart has about 2000 now and has given up his Welsh Black cattle.

We did alright this year Dave  our land is a bit difficult for them and we have to give JG drench for copper but since we discovered that they've come along a storm. We lambed at 185% this year with a high percentage of ewe lambs. The ram lamb we had from Stuart when we bought our first Lleyn has proven to be a cracking tup......he thought he would be.... ;) and throws well formed lively lambs.... good tight skins
With OH's now disability...we looked to buy some more from a different source......looked good as ewe lambs but turned out not nearly as good as our original stock or any progeny we've produced so far so we sold . Nothing wrong with them just didn't turn out as we'd hoped...he shows a lot so breeds differently I guess.......we prefer the originals and said if/when we wanted more we'd always go back :sunshine: ....2000 :o ...obviously works well for him  if you would be so good as to pass on our regards when you get chance :sunshine:
