Title: Energised & ready to go
Post by: Q on September 16, 2013, 08:33:24 am
Anyone else get thoroughly energised by the weather over this last weekend?
It was wet and breezy but warm enough at the same time.   I spent most of the weekend outside doing some heavy work and then digging up a few of the later spuds.
This morning though, I have a great feeling of energy and positivity for some reason and I am ready for the week ahead.
Must have been all those cobwebs that got blown away.

I don't mind the breezy weather so long as its dry. Sat was a fantastic day here and the first in a long time when I haven't been in any pain so it was lovely to be outside. The dog got a nice walk too

the cool weather makes me feel more energetic too; Saturday was nice but today the breeze was a little too cold for my liking.

though I'm feeling a bit beaten up ATM as I was wrestling with my new 'easycare' sheep today (how do you get hold of a sheep with no wool?); they're a lot bigger and stronger than my old shetlands - one of them managed to get her feet under her then get up and set off back to her flockmates with me on her back the whole time.

Ha MAB that conjures up a great image - hope you're not toooo bruised.

I decided to use some energy up and spent over an hour digging over the veggie patch followed by over an hour painting the bathroom.

I will see if i have the energy to get up for work tomorrow.

For me the rain is energizing. It is now slahing at the window pane and I cannot tear myself away to go to bed. After a month of dry weather it is a welcome change. Also it is nice that it gets dark again on an evening.
