i went to get some leg rings the other week to put on some unrelated birds ive hatched iworths and light sussex so i could tell who was who when i breed or sell some... rings £9 for a pack of about 30, scandalous they are only coiled plastic, so i got some sheep spray dye £3 a big aerosol can.. many colours i got blue, sprayed the unrelated light sussex cockeral i want to keep, and the growing unrelated ixworths, it rained hard soon after spraying but 2 weeks on all still blue... it lasts on sheep so i tried the hens, might need doing again when they moult but works ok.... some leg rings ive used before have come of.

Ever read /seen film "Bridget Jones' Diary" (not dairy!) Where she ties up asparagus, I think, with string and ends up with Blue soup?!
But if you don't mind the possibility of blue roast chickens.... Good luck to you (its the kind of thing we would do!)
