Title: Shock and stunned....

.......and a little upset.  I gave my dog an extra bowl of food tonight,(she's nursing) and cracked open an egg over her biscuits (thinking she could do with the extra protein). 4 yolks!!!   :o   Ok,so my last chickens regulary gave up double yolkers every 2 or 3 days,but a four-yolker?  Anyway,just bragging,back to making omelettes ........Ree

Goodness that was going to be a well fed little chick or four.  What you would have needed to know was, did the egg have four little embryos as well as the yolks to feed on............................. ;D ;D ;D

The most I ever had was three -
break the eggs into a cup first from now on -
then
if it happens again you might get a bit of publicity in Practical Poultry with the photo
and a bit of chat ;D ;D ;D
