I said I'd post pics of the sheep we bought at Lanark. I took a few of the existing mob too...
First up, one of the pair of BFL x Shetland katmoget ewe lambs.
Next up, the white BFL x Shetland ewe lamb. (Behind to the left is homebred Shetland x Charollais ewe lamb.)
Third pic shows one of the new katmoget girls, with some of the existing fleece flock behind - last but one to the right is Cap'n, the Shetland x Charollais tup lamb, far right is a BFL x Shetland gimmer. Left of Cap'n is the other Shetland X gimmer; she has some Castlemilk Moorit in her but I think there could be a bit of BFL in her too.
Fourth pic has two of the new three lambs walking away to the left, followed by one of the homebred Manx x Shetland ewe lambs.

Finally for the newcomers, one showing the gimmers we bought privately as well as the three ewe lambs. One of the gimmers is called Piggles (we've had worse, we bought one Limousin cow already named Cuddles once ::)) and I took the pic as all the sheep are looking at the pigs! :D
Then there's a pic of my Manx ewe with her Shetland X ewe lamb, and finally a nice shot of one of the Castlemilk Moorit gimmers.

Do you have any close-ups of the fleeces of the new ones?
-

Lovely newcomers  great piccie observing the sheep :D
A visit needed me thinks, just to check them over, make sure they are as nice as they look on the piccies ;)

I don't, will see what I can do. fleecehusband had a look at the ewe lambs at the mart and I didn't disagree with his assessment, which wasn't particularly positive - but I bought them anyway as I hope they will grow as big and strong as Buffy, or nearly, and give me some nice fleeced offspring. They already look like different sheep after being dosed and settling in here :)
I have also learned that you can't tell everything about a fleece when it's still on the sheep - some of Sadie's fleece is awesome and I only bought her because she came as a pair with Buffy!
