Post by: gavin davies on September 05, 2013, 11:49:00 am
When helen collected my pigs a few weeks ago she was kind enough to give me a few packs of sausages  and a joint fromm some of her recent pigs that had gone to the sausage maker so last night we cooked some oh my god I will never by supermarket sausages again they were absolutely gorgeous even when cooking them you could tell the difference between them and cheap sausages now I know what the fuss is about and cant wait to see what the  joints taste like

fresh farm chicken/lamb is also awesome, not found a reasonable supply for on farm beef yet but we don't eat much of that...

one of these days i'll find the space to do my own... i hate when i have to buy supermarket meat now, sometimes i still have to due to lack of pocket pennies and in the case of chickens sometimes lack of supplier...
