Title: ducks need rehoming - Bridge of Earn / Perth
Post by: Chrissie on September 05, 2013, 09:12:05 am
Hiya,

I posted a similar message about 3 weeks on the marketplace forum but didn't get any real interests so I try here again - We have 4 ducks which need to go to a new home: A pair of runner ducks and a pair of 'normal' ducks (female white and looks a bit like an Aylesbury). They don't need to go as a pack of 4. The two couples arrived separately at our place in the first place...

The reason for the downsize is that I am 6 1/2 months pregnant, not having the easiest time with it and am struggling with the duck / carer ratio ;-) We hatched some ducklings earlier this year which did really well so we have 8 ducks but really only space and nerves for 4 so please get in touch and I can send some photos - can you please PM me as I am not on the Forum daily and I don't want to miss any replies. They are great and run inside at night as soon as you announce through the window that you are doing your evening round to lock them up!

Thanks :-)
Chrissie.

I would love too, but i can't risk taking on to many males - got 19 ducklings this year and don't know my split yet! it's a pity as i would have quite liked to add a white duck into my mix
