Title: How much do you love your poultry?
Post by: Factotum on September 02, 2013, 12:55:54 pm
Just read this in the paper - I know we get attached to our birds, but...

Would you wait - or would 'Sarah' have an accident & be replaced by Sarah Mk2?

Clever chicken. I can't think of anything better for the gizzard than a nice hard diamond or two!  ;D

I love the head-line Women forced to wait 8 years, err darling I'd have that earing out in 8 minutes! I love having my chickens, but its more the flock as a whole and having them around.

Sorry but she'd be in the pot & I wouldn't go paying for a vets op to recover the diamond - it might cost £300+ for all you know & what if she pooped it out! God knows where it could go! Hmm £20 chicken vs £300 diamond & a meal on the table - I know which I'd choose. Normally we only kill the cocks & spent layers & deformed birds but I'd make an exception. ( I love my chooks but they are there mainly for eggs & meat, apart from the few ornamental types x
