Title: 20 goats entered Thainstone

I just spotted 20 goats are entered for this sale, just thought it might be of interest to folks here, I haven't seen that many entered before..
 
Saturday 7th September
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE: Rare and Minority Breeds of Cattle,                  Horses, Pigs Sheep, Poultry and Waterfowl.                   Show and Sale of Jacob and Ryeland Sheep,                   Implements and Hand Tools from a      Bygone Era. Horses, Ponies and Tack
Sale  of Rare and Minority Breeds
(Including  Show and Sale of Jacob and Ryeland Sheep
Comprising  10 Cattle (Inc Longhorn Hfr, Dexter Females and Highland), 40 Pigs,  400  Sheep (inc 90 Jacob, 30 Ryeland, 80 Zwarables, 200 Others inc Black  Welsh Mountain, Boreray, Castlemilk, Dorset, Gotland, Herdwick, Hebridean,  Kerryhill, Lincoln Longwool, NZ Romney, Oxford (inc Dispersal from Messrs  Donald Little Millbrex of 5 gmrs, 11 ewes, 2 ewe lambs and 3 rams), Shetland, Soay, South Down, Welsh Badgerface,  Wensleydale. 20 Goats. 600 Cages of Poultry and Waterfowl.  50 Lots of Hatching Eggs

I will be going to this sale looks good and I like Thainestone very friendly sale and buttery rowies with your breakfast yum yum, Looks like a good selection of sheep breeds. It's a hectic sale so much going on at the same time. I wanted to enter some things in the items from a bygone era but they wanted me to have them there for the day before the sale, not practical but I will have a word and see if I can change this for people coming from a distance. No worries still a great sale. Who's going.

I'm sure my OH arranges to  be away so that he isn't available with the trailer....to stop me getting tempted >:(

Lachlanandmarcus how are the two lambs getting on Posy & Tiramasu could collect on the way home from Thainestone.

Hi Bigchicken, Posy and Tiramisu  are very well!!


I haven't formally weaned them in a separate field but they aren't really drinking any more from mum so should be fine to go. They are well grown little tanks!


Do you want me to PM you directions to us, I can't remember if I've done that! ?
