Title: Best place for Crovect
Post by: melholly on August 27, 2013, 03:06:33 pm
Needing to top my lot up with the preventer - noticing a few lambs with grubby backs??? Is this a sign of things to come...?

Anyway (sorry getting sidetracked) I'm sure Scats aren't cheapest for this - £70 for 5L, £53 for 2.2L, £26 for 0.8L Just wondered if anyone had some good Internet places for this?

I've not come across any cheaper than that.

What sort of grubby back? Not some of the ram lambs practising for next tupping season?

Looked at 6 sites 5L from £79 -£101       0.8L  from £28 -£33  so you seem to be ok

Ectofly is the same chemical and often seems to come in cheaper.

Never heard of Ectofly but will look it up - cheers Steve.

Marches Farmer - I think you're right, might just be the ram lambs having a go! They all seem to be pretty grubby - no other symptoms though. Having had a few 'mares' with flystrike am now a bit paranois every time one of them lies down when the others don't!

Cheers everyone - as I've got the Crovect spray gun I'll probably head down to Scats - at least I won't feel like I'm being ripped off too much!
