Just wanted to say a quick hello to you all.
We're looking to grab a piece of land in Ireland once we sell our home in Hull.
The plan is to have a wee bit o livestock but to mainly focus on the permaculture/foodforest kinda thing.
This seems like the right place to be when I'm finding my enthusiasm outweighs my knowledge!
:)

Hi and welcome to the forum snap
Your project sounds interesting. There will be plenty of people on here who will be able to offer advice.

Hello Snap (great name),
Whereabouts in Ireland are you looking?
-
Hi Possum (not a bad name yerself - big smile on my mush!)
We're pretty unrestricted with regard to area, need to consider my 12 yr old Daughter tho.
Searches seem to have centred around Limerick and Cork

I don't know Limerick well but County Cork always seems to have better weather than the rest of southern Ireland. West Cork is a a very good growing area. Warm and sheltered from the westerly storms.
