Title: How to transport half a pig

One of my friend is buying half a pig Un butchered from me he only lives 5 Miles away from
Me so I was planning on moving it in my car. What do people wrap there pigs up in to transport them safely and Hygienically?? Any info or tips are more than wellcome.

my abattoir gave me big blue plastic sheets, which i then covered with a blanket. ours were in a trailer and survived fine.

A big plastic bag should do fine

The abattoir can wrap the carcase in plastic bags although trotters do poke through sometimes! I also use a tarp in the back of my pick up which also has a washable plastic load liner, all surfaces can be cleaned before and after.

any of the above - dust sheets from DIY store work well if you don't fully unload them
