Title: New Arrivals
Post by: Clive on August 20, 2013, 09:14:05 pm
Finally our Berkshire gilt Tink has given birth to her piglets. 10 of them. I'm particularly pleased as it was our first AI attempt. All seem healthy and active, though a couple of them are pretty small. Not a great pic but I will post a better one soon.

She's turning out to be a good mum too. Attentive, careful but she has no problem with us being around. Quite surprising when she's such a madam when brimming!

Great to get a good-sized litter from your first go at AI. Well done.

Congratulations all     :pig:

Now the fun begins...

You do know that little piglets can get themselves through/under/over pretty much any barrier...  ;D
