Title: Life is short
Post by: escapedtothecountry on August 05, 2013, 04:24:28 pm
I'm in my 30s and over the last few weeks more and more people I know are having operations or getting even worse news about their health. Touch wood I haven't needed medical advice/ help for 2 decades. But it does hit home how short life is.

To that end, much to the annoyance of my wife, and because I've always wanted one since I was a kid, a Banjolele is going to arrive in an hour or so.

So I think I better get a book on George Formbys greatest hits!

Bells on the ankles and cymbols between the knees, might as well make some money from it outside Tesco while your wife does the weekly shop, she won't complain then  :D

I'm that tone deaf I can't tell if I've tuned it right even with all the free apps to help you get it right. And then of course I have sore strumming fingers! Lol!

I started to learn the piano at the age of 60 so I agree, it's never too late. I have wanted to learn since I was a child but never had the opportunity before.
