A friend has these, grown from seed from another friend - fairly local - any ideas what they are?
They look like a yellow thistle with sunflower type seeds remining

Centaurea Macrocephala - never seen it before, but apparently bees love it :bee:

I haven't seen it before either but if the bees love it then I will have to get some

Oh yes - good idea  Annie are you able to acquire any seeds? Please :eyelashes:

Yes, plenty of seeds when they are ready - it's in the garden of the canine water therapy pool I take the dogs to.

Unfortunately, our Club weekend (Brittany Club of GB) is going to be the last weekend in September for the foreseeable future so unless I am chucked off the committee I won't I'm afraid. :gloomy: And since I'm the problem solver of the team they seem to need me a lot :innocent:

That's a shame about the clash of the 2 events Annie ???
Maybe I could send you an SAE :eyelashes:

I'll post on here when I get seeds - there will be LOADS I am sure, then I can either post out or, if it's before the end of next month, give our Central Scotland Smallholders Team a box of them before the Smallholders Festival and they can be collected from our stand
