My neighbour is selling his old Landrover (Series 2A I think?) The number plate may be of interest to someone on here - it ends EWE. I think he would sell the plate separately. Someone in the next village, a sheep farmer, has TUP on his Landy ;D
Derbyshire/Cheshire border.
-
happyhippy has P16 LDY, which I think is pretty cool ;D
-
I would love my own reg, been looking but not enough money just yet
-
Not sure I'd want to be recognized as Pig Lady :roflanim: :roflanim:
Mine is just K21 and the first three letters of my surname. Got it with a car we bought in 2000 so just keep transferring it.
-
How much does he want for the series land rover?
..try to remember.....wife might kill me.......
-
Its so not fair there are all these cool reg's out there but the one i want is
B 100 MER and i can't have it as its on the never to be released list as its a naughty word apparently although i know 2 police officers with his and hers plates of B 100 DY and their initials on the end, their name is Blood but if thats ok why isn't Bloomer...
-
I must be dim or lead a sheltered life - I can't think what the naughty word could be :-[
-
Bloomer as a word is on the list of unissuable number plates most of what's on the list is obviously bad but apparently once its on the list there's no getting it released, remember it would have been added to the list in the 70's so people thought differently then!!!

Ah, I've got it ................ pants! :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim:

I have a personalised number plate. It looked good when I had my sports car but not so sure it looks quite the same on my 4x4

I have been trying to sell my Dad's '1' number for a while now - clearly there's not enough Naomi Bridget Vaughans around, although we did try Northern Business Ventures but it seems they couldn't afford it :roflanim: And there was me hoping to be set up for life on the proceeds ::)
We have a slightly naughty number on our old Series 3 - GUS 81T but we just call her Gus. Maybe that would do for you bloomer :roflanim:

I saw lots of personalised plates on UK cars in France today - its black saturday on the roads as everyone goes on holiday. Most of the plates I saw are so obscure and I guess they cost more than my car did. Sorry to say that they seem a bit naff over here as there are no such things as "personalised" plates here ( and people don;t sit in the outside lane of a motorway in a slow moving 4x4). Sorry folks but it was a c--- journey to visit the OH in hospital after a RTA and I guess I am more sensitive to other drivers and their cars.
-
I fancy something like SAS for sandy and steve, or dog or wee shires or Lab or even a rude one......I have seen ones that do make me laugh and that's a bonus when you are driving
-
I've got L5 SOW and DIG 2705 (we used to hire out a mini digger and driver).

If I ever win the lottery I'm going to badger whoever has this one to sell it to me - I believe it's standing at about £50K
ANN 1E
Or ANN 3
it's a lot cheaper - £8K
-
The chimney sweep at our old place had

:-))
-
Never had one don't want one can't see the point to me it's a waste of hard earned money but hay everyone to there own.
-
Strange one on the feelings here but
Land rover pulling a stock box around worcestershire has the reg plate;
CU11 EWE
-
Our Disco came with a plate that I think could be desirable to some - P11 JLC but apparently its 'non transferable' - anyone know what this means? I just thought there might be a Jack lewis Conners or something somewhere?! ;D
I used to have L999 LAT (lisa ann tanner) when I was still nursing - was a present. Stupidly I didn't put it on retention so it got crushed with my written off MGF >:(
-
I had a work friend who bought a personalised number plate. His name was Jon. I went outside to the carpark to take a look but couldn't find a car with his name or initials on it. All I found was a BEN.
Confused I went back to speak to him. "Oh yes" he said, "thats mine" but your name is Jon I said. "I just bought any name for investment" he said :roflanim:

I had RXI 1996 on an old fiesta I scrapped - I transferred it to our VW camper and she is now christened Roxii ;)

I love personal reg's, I just see it as being individual and if that's what you want it's no more a waste than anything else...I wastes loads on over indulgence after all :eyelashes: , I just bough a new old Landrover Freelander but some I looked at had wonderful plates like Nob...or similar.......I will save up and get either Dog or Lab or SAS. :excited:
-
Yes nob sounds like good for a personal number plate :innocent: :roflanim:
-

Mandy :pig:
-
My step farther had a old black Bmw but the number plate wasnt personalised it was original plates and it spelt fucker so the name stuck to the car as was pretty lethal at speed or on corners.
-
My OH bought me F1 4NNX.
I'm Fiona Ann so it's not a bad match. My children says the X is a kiss!
-
Lots direct from the DVLA ending in EWE for about £190.
