Title: pheasant chicks
Post by: sokel on July 20, 2013, 10:25:29 pm
Has anyone managed to rear orphan day old pheasant chicks under a bloody ?
Mum was killed as she flew off the nest and chicks where newly hatched. Gathered up 4 chicks and there was 11 rotten eggs put them under a broody they didn't stay under her but 30 mins later all where under her
Tonight 1 had died but the others are pecking around with her chicks when she offers bits of food.
Anyone managed to rear them and any tips would be great
