Title: Little dog has gone
Post by: in the hills on July 19, 2013, 09:09:03 pm
Had to make the decision and have our pup PTS today.  :'( :'( :'(  Can't talk much about it and no words can describe how we all feel. She had ectopic ureter, with recurring urinary infections and other tract defects.

We are heartbroken and the children can't stop sobbing. A terrible day. Just feel so bad.  :'( :'( :'(

Such an awful thing to be born with. Never a good outcome. It's sad enough when they come to the end of a long life but heart wrenching when it comes to an end at a young age.

So sorry to you and your family

I am so sorry, what a difficult decision to make but you must take some comfort from the fact that you really had no choice

So sorry In the HIlls  :bouquet:

Never an easy decision but one that I'm sure our much loved pets would thank us for if they could. Rainbow bridge has always helped to comfort my children with any animal bereavements  - sending you all much love xx

So sorry for you.  Terrible thing to have to do with a young one - and when children are involved its so much worse, as they would obviously have become attached.

As much as it hurts, you have done the right thing and it took great courage and strenth to make that decision. Try and remember the happy times you had with the pup.

The hardest decision we ever have to make as pet owners.

Hugs to all of you.  :'(

Thanks for all the kind words and hugs ... have really needed them.

Had to make the decision so many times before and can't say it ever got any easier but they were always old dogs that had good long lives .... a little comfort in knowing that.  Little dog was a baby and it just made it so very hard.

We have cried so much but are picking ourselves up now and looking forward.

Thanks
