Title: Empty without the pigs
Post by: Rhys Jones on July 18, 2013, 05:08:49 pm
My first lot of weaners went off to the abattoir yesterday, and already the place feels really weird and empty without them!!  :-[ Anyway, this has confirmed something for myself and the wife, we want pigs around on a more permanent basis.  :excited: We want 2 sows, either GOS or OSB or one of each. Does anyone know of, or have any available in the north Wales area (ideally close to Pwllheli)?  :pig: :pig: :pig:

Thanks in advance

Rhys

I've sent you a pm Rhys. It turns out that we're virtually neighbours and I'd be more than happy for you and your wife to come and pay us and Pru the GOS a visit. :pig:

"empty without the pigs" feels such a perfect description. whenever our weaners make the one way trip it feels so completely.......... empty (that's the word) when we return home. They are such a wonderful creature to have about the place. We don't really have the set up to have them permanently but we can always look forward to the next batch of scampery squeally little chaps

Lovely description.........for GOS breeders in your area check out members list at www.gospbc.co.uk (http://www.gospbc.co.uk) or try Jane Matthews for OSB welsh side of chester, should find her on OSB website.
Pity your so far away as i have two lovely GOS gilts born Jan & March this year who are lovely girls and would give you nice piglets early next year.
Hope you find something
