Anyone know if the Uncle Jimmy range is OK for goats (pygmies)? Think the hanging balls may be a good idea for our boys but not sure if they are OK for goats. Seems like seeds & maize mixed with molasses formed into a solid ball.

Probably too sweet for goats, esp pygmies. I would keep treats like that to a minimum, rather given them carrots (cut into sticks), apple slices, bananas, cabbage leaves etc.
My goats will do anything for a banana!

After a few weeks of refusal of cabbage, carrot, apple & banana they are eating the first 3 of those & Branston is going MENTAL for cabbage leaves. How much of this stuff are you ok giving them?

mine love lettuce, they dont get much but i wonder if it drugs them in the same way it does to rabbits.
bundles of docks, willow herbs, nettles get scoffed which is handy and free. the rose hedge will get trimmed shortly, thats a big favourite.

I don't know about quantities for pygmies, I would keep it for special and only a few a day, maybe when you need to call them and get them to you for example.

My goats love the Uncle Jimmy's licky things, especially the molasses ones. I don't give thenm often and hang them on baler twine so the goats have to work for them. They have permanent black muzzles while the licky thing is still there.
