Learn about all things woolie at Doonies Farm, a combined event organised by Rara Breeds Survival Trust Northern Scotland Support Group and Doonies Rural Education Group

Hand shearing a sheep
Learn uses of various fleeces
Fleece to garment with hand spinning and weaving
Rug making
Having fun wet felting
Kilt making demonstration

That sounds like fun  :thumbsup:    I would love to see the kilt making but I'm too far south.  Now if it was on the 28th I will be up that way......
 
I hope it's a good event for the farm.
