Title: Re-fillable Fly Traps
Post by: Foobar on July 15, 2013, 11:43:25 am
I have used Red Top Fly Traps with much success in the past, but I'm after a trap that is refillable, and preferably made of solid material rather than a bag.  Has anyone used any refillable ones, like FliTrap or MaxiFly Fly Traps?

i used redtop fly traps for the first time this year and have been blown away by how successful they have been, absolutely brill! I personally wouldn't fancy a refillable one as I think emptying it would be so gross and nasty! But, I'd still be interested to hear how good refillable ones are.

I've looked these up. Do you know what their 'working area is? ie if I have typically 5 ad 3 acre fields (fairly square) how many would I need?  Also how are they 'strung up' if they should be away rom trees to get UV light?
