My sister said she would like some bees but that they are sooo expensive. I told her to get a hive in her garden and if she was lucky a swarm might just move in.
Well, of course she took no notice but rang me in a panic last night as a swarm had arrived in her garden looking for somewhere to set up home. They were resting in a bush right outside her kitchen window. She was then kicking herself that she didn't have a hive ;D ;D

That'll teach her! ;D
Wonderful to see bees swarming. Me and my mentor have now doubled the number of our overwintered hives, and for the first time since I started beekeeping 4 seasons ago - I am going to get some honey :excited:
