what do you all charge for your produce,I charge £1 for 6 eggs,£1 for 16 runner beans, what would be a fair price for a bunch of 4 medium size beetroot?

80p?

£1 for 6 eggs...they are worth it :)

I would keep it simple and charge £1 for all your produce . If its outside your gate, there is nobody to give change it may put somebody off - if they think they should be paying 80p and have to throw a£1 in , whereas if they think its £1 from the start they will be happy - hope that made sense (it did in my head :roflanim:)

I charge £1.10 for six free range eggs - only because they had been £1 for years and I thought 10p extra was not a massive increase. I think £1 is maybe a good idea, as people do tend not to have the right money for other amounts. In fact someone must have only had £5 note for a dozen eggs, so they left that!! Not sure if they ever came back and took their change when there was enough in the tin.

I charge £1,20 for eggs so it's good to charge 80p for extras as that makes a nice round £2.00. Give what you think a try and amend as necessary. Smallholders never cgarge enough for their produce - but then again, you don't want to price yourself out of the market. Tricky!

Whenever I sell my eggs, not very often, I do it via my sisters work and sell 6 for £1.50!

My eggs are in a cool box at my door with a notice to put money through the letter box, I charge £1.20 for 6. Notice also says to ring the bell if they need change, but rarely happens.
