Eck and I had a hectic half hour this morning treating the flock for scaley leg, not all were suffering but thought best to treat all at the same time. Haven't had to deal with this problem before and was wondering if this hot spell has laid them more susceptible to it ? Anyone else noticed the problem ?

am battling it in my permanent pen as well-hot weather is good for all kinds of mites. have treated mine and will rest the pen for at least a month as any scales that fall off remain infectious for up to a month apparently.
