Since Easter has really crept up on us this year it has put me in mind of the holidays and since we live within reasonable distances to all of the ports , Caen, Cherbourg and Le Harve, I thought I would extend an invatation to any of you thinking of taking a break over the pond or even thinking of moving here.
Be very welcome to drop in and visit us. I usually have a cake in the tin, cheese in the fridge and a bottle of wine ready to open - Tetley tea of course!
We have already had one TAS visitor who braved the mud and it was so nice to walk around our smallholding talking pig, and lovely to meet them and welcome them into our little world here.
We love sharing our experience so please get in touch if you feel like cuppa you will be very welcome.

Kate,
How kind of you,yes please would love to come and see round and talk piggies. Also the sound of a glass or 2 of wine is very tempting.
Nice to see you back online.

Oh what a lovely gesture, and "I wish"... One of these days. Feeling a bit lightheaded right now......and Yes it could be the homemade wine....but more a sense of relief at having FINALLY handed in my resignation at work today. :o ::)

Congratulations, Blinkers. I'm not quite ready to leave the comfort of a monthly pay check yet, so I do admire and envy you!

if am ever in the area i will do am still trying to persuade hubby to go to Holland camping. Not sure how my driving would hold up abroad lol
Linz

It is really easy to drive here Linz - I waited months before I took the plunge and it was only John refusing to take me out that made me do it. It was like taking my first driving lesson and I held the wheel so tight I could barely straigten my hand afterwards. One I did it though I loved it and find it really disorientating driving back in UK now. I much prefer driving here and of course not so much traffic.
Be welcome

Morning everyone!
Wooleyshepherd
We live in dept 50 Manche - between Brecey and Avranches. We can see the Mont St Michel from the top field on a clear day. Our commune is called Tirepied and we are positioned at the crossroads to St Eugiene and Braffais. We are in the process of setting up a new facility just three km outside Brecey at Notra Dame de Livoye.
You will need a good pair of wellies!
Email ahead of your trip and we can send directions by email.
