Probably not a real word but I am the owner of an allotment! My second year and learning all the time, I am just taking on another plot elsewhere and need advice!

Hi  from :sunshine: :sunshine: :sunshine: Shropshire. The correct word is actually allotmenteer so you were nearly there. You'll find lots of useful advice on here and plenty of friendly people.
I'm a back garden smallholder with goats, fruit trees and bushes and veg beds.
Whereabouts are you?

Hi Cazpanda, welcome to the forum!
I can personally vouch for the welcome and useful help given here because I've just moved from suburbia to a 15 acre place in the North Pennines so I need all the help I can get! :)

Hello and welcome from Carnoustie
We grow veggies, small orchard (70 trees), Shetland cattle, Coloured Ryeland sheep, two Kune Kune pigs for the freezer and about 100 hens. Plus 2 dogs, three cats and two ponies. And the Scottish Smallholder and Grower Festival - along with happyhippy ;D

Hi from the Isle of Mull

We're in the West Mids, not far from Dudley. We've got a couple of chickens and would love a sheep or 2 if we had the room!

Quite near us then. We are in Telford and I used to work in Dudley. If you ever fancy seeing our set up and meeting my goats, just PM me.
