Picture doesn't show on my computer - just the kind of spider I like though - invisible.

And not poisonous? That makes a change...

Would prefer a real peacock, though.  :D

I thought it was brilliant, esp when he wiped his eyes with his palps, like a biker wiping the rain off goggles with a glove thumb.   Then his funny display-face like a clown, but she's not impressed and eats him instead  ::)    Amazing footage.  Thanks Bionic

I like spiders as they eat flies which I do dislike intensely.  I would never squash a spider and go to great lengths to rescue them from sticky situations without actually touching them or having them running up my arms  :tired: :tired: :tired:   (I don't like them THAT much  :D )

I had a look on google images and agree it's an incredibly pretty spider.  It's also very small, so I could definitely cope with one of those.   I never kill spiders either and usually catch them in a glass.  I am ok with them until they reach a certain size!

I like spiders...that one is pretty but they do have a great character. Its snakes I detest, even looking at a photo of one makes me shudder!!

Now thats funny Sandy, I love snakes. They don't feel as you would expect them i.e. slimy. With something big like a boa it feels warm and like the muscles on a mans arm.

Well, not a fan of muscle men either :innocent:
We watched a programme about 2 people looking for Anacondas in the swamps, that programme gave me a few horrid nightmares :'(

Not feeling the love for the spider  :sofa:  but here's a pic of my Eloise when she was 5 with 'Marmalade'. She's going to be a vet, apparently (Eloise, not the snake )

We are on snake watch here after the large one we removed from our neihbours kitchen. I am a bit phobic of them but I don't share my neighbours intent to kill every one they see. the poor things are just trying to carve out a life and eat the odd meal - a bit like me really.

Nice snake.

Spiders have eight legs which is how they are able to scuttle and why they are so scary. Give me a great big snake any day although I am getting braver and can hoover spiders myself now unless they are very big.

Oh MGM - don't vacuum them up.  Think what happens once they've disappeared from sight - whirling round and round, slowly suffocating in dust.  If you really have to kill them, then squashing them would be kinder.  But why not just catch them in a jamjar with a card over the top then flip them outside?

I can't kill anything, even woodlice which I'm terrified of but Murphy has taken to jumping on spiders and then eating them  :o  then I feel really guilty!
Those snakes really are beautiful Alistair  :)
