just wondering if anyone has heard from Bucketman and how its going at the Alt?
i was wondering if he ever got a blog going but i cant remember the proper name to the pub he bought?
-
Hopefully the long silence means a very busy pub.

Oh gosh, I hope he is just snowed in and hasn't jumped ship as well. He hasn't posted since mid January!
-
I soon loose track of any one leaving, I often wonder if people who do leave actualy just change thier name? Some people just do not post much but read......any way, hope its all going well!

im just curious how the pub was going as we were pondering over it whilst it was on the market (not that we could buy it at the time - but you can dream ;D). it looked so lovely. he did mention a blog at one point.
hope its all going well.

Was he in Scotland some where? I get confused as to who is doing what, especially as there are so many people on here and I left for a while (so I could get some work done)

he was up somewhere near lairg, a lovely little pub right next to the loch. so idyllic. theres a b&b next door so i wouldnt mind staying there at some point except i cant mind the name. i havent really explored that part of scotland yet.

The pub is just called the Alt - look at his old posts. His member profile will give you the location, too. I've already tried googling it, but there doesn't seem to be any recent information online. (I'm interested, too - would love to visit that part of the country again.)
You could try sending him a pm - then he'd know you are trying to contact him, if he checks his emails, that is!

I remember, it was an ideal set up. Trouble is, business can be good but not good enough to sustain when you need extra money for repairs and holidays etc......We always have guests, all year round but very little profit, just enables me to have a very small income and stay at home with our dogs, love it in On my way! Ways but you never really have a free day.
