Title: We are re-homing our chickens….
Post by: Pundyburn Lynn on June 18, 2013, 04:52:03 pm
After having chickens for five years we now have to down-size.

We need to re-home around 30 chickens in total (I have lost count, and they won't stand still).  They are Light Sussex (large fowl), and a good dual purpose bird.  We have around:
·         20 hens at 18-months old (still with 2 years good laying left) - £6 per bird
·         6 hens at 6 months old (almost at point of lay)  - £8 per bird
·         4 cockerels at 6 months old

These birds have been used to free-ranging, and are all in good health.

Price is negotiable.  Please email for further details.  We are based just west of Perth

Pity you're so far, I fancy a couple of POL light sussex. Actually it's probably for the best .- our numbers seem to be creaping up!

Happy to separate,

Not surprisingly, the youngest have been allocated and the 18 month olds left on the shelf!  I am happy to rehome any quantity of the 18 month olds...

They are good layers, but unhappy being shut in.
