Title: Lamb vaccinations - Leicester
Post by: brookdale on June 12, 2013, 10:28:02 pm
Hi, I am looking to carry out my clostridial vaccinations within the next couple of weeks. I only have 4 lambs so most of the vaccine would go to waste. Is their anyone localish that is also vaccinating who i could perhaps share costs / vaccine. I was looking to vaccinate using ovivac.

Hi,
I'm in leicestershire, near Hinckley. I've already done my lambs clostridial vaccinations, but for future Heptavac/ovivac i'd be happy to share!
I've got 12 southdowns altogether now!

Let me know if i can be of any help!

Lou  :)

Hi Lou, I'm near Hinckley in Peckleton so you must be local. I decided to vacinate with Heptavac P but still the smallest amount i could buy was 50ml so most will go to waste,  they'd be enough for your 12. We were a bit late lambing this year due to problems of flooding in the fields. Do you vacinate before tubbng?
What do you do for worming, would you be interested in sharing that, with such a small number most of what i buy goes to waste.  Diane
