Anyone know any sources of discount for bulk buying of poultry feed? My neighbour and I decided to pool resources but on checking on line there doesn't appear to be any opportunities to obtain a discount on the price we pay from a local retailer.
Thanks

you might be better saying where you are

Mole avon do discounts if order large sums of feed .

I think you'll need to go into a supplier and speak to them. A lot will depend on what you mean by bulk though.

Worth speaking to supplier. I did this with my pigs , I bought 10 bags at a time and got a discount. If you don't ask you don't get.

We are in Northumberland and get 20kg sacks of layers Pellets for £6 a bag but we have to buy 20 sacks at a time , in our case its not a problem because there is a few of us share them

In my experience you don't get discounts until you buy 20 bags. We contacted a wholesale feed supplier and they delivered a minimum of 20 bags at a discounted price. Smallholder feeds £1.20 a bag cheaper.
