Title: where can I get screw rings for old kilner jars?

Does anyone know where to get screw rings for old 'original' kilner jars from?

I've found 8 in the barn at the farm we've just bought, the rings were completely rusted but the jars and glass tops cleaned up just fine in the dishwasher. I'd love to re-use them and learn how to preserve things in them but can't seem to find anywhere selling the rings for the older jars, just the newer or 'dual purpose' jars. I really don't want to throw these out.

They're for the newer size jars, not the older originals sadly. Think I'm just going to have to refurbish the ones I've got.

Peter of   ([email protected])Peter Denyer Preservingjarparts ([email protected]) is very helpful and the best source I have found for renovating and replacing parts for vintage Kilner Jars. He has an on-line shop.
