Well for the last two days a certain Wee Eck has been singing the praises of this friendly forum so how could I resist taking a peep ?
I am his other half by the way ;D and share the work looking after our dogs, cats, hens and goldfish - sometimes I even get to look after him!
Many moons ago we used to keep ponies, mine was a Haflinger and Eck had an old thoroughbred, now we just look at the photos and remind ourselves of the fun days we had.
I do a bit of veggie gardening but its mostly in a couple of raised beds and pots with a greenhouse thrown in.
My job involves me wearing garish clothes and stopping drivers......................excuse me I am a lollipop lady :o
Think that is enough to be going on with .
Oh before I forget, those of you encouraging him to put music on , be warned he is an old punk rocker :roflanim:

Your username is great! My mum used to call me 'something' Fanackapan when I was little. I would type the first bit but its considered rude on the filters ;D . is that phrase where your username comes from? I never knew the origin of it. She was not best pleased with me when she used it? :innocent:
welcome anyway, I have a Haflinger mare (a nice and not too bolshy one) so can provide plenty of Haffie input!

I remember that name too :innocent: , where did it come from? Welcome from Clackmannan  , we just have some chickens due to wanting to downsize big time, we keep a B&B that keeps me in the custom I am used to, pre loved clothing and bargain food!!! :roflanim: , we did have 16 chickens and a pair of ducks but they got re homed, we also have 3 Labradors that take me out daily and keep me occupied but we hope to do things differently when we move, just depends on what we end up with!!!
Just googled your name and its to do with Gracie Fields """"

Thank you for the welcomes, glad the name brought back memories, my name is Annie so I didn't need the naughty F...y version.
My haflinger was the old type as broad as it was tall but a really game wee pony, I loved the bones of her , she was out of Maximillian the 1st Haffy stallion in the UK born at Chatsworth House. Sadly had to make the hardest decision 12 years ago as she was suffering Cushings and had become very miserable, Chatsworth Viola will always have a huge chunk of my heart.
